AMERICA'S MISS PAGEANTS is proud to announce that Hannah Mollerick,
17, of Laurel, Maryland was crowned America's Miss Teen 2008 on
July 5, 2008 at The International Plaza Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida.
In addition to winning the national title, Hannah won the
fitness wear competition in the Teen division, and the optional Swimwear
and Party Wear competitions.
Hannah,
an Honor Roll student and Vice President of her Junior Class is a nominee
for Maryland's Distinguished Scholar Award. In 2006 she won the Miss
Maryland Outstanding Teen title and a $1,000 Scholastic Achievement
Scholarship at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant. Hannah, a
competitive dancer and certified Zumba instructor, has received several
gold and platinum dance adjudications. She is also the recipient of the
Dance Educators of America Ballet Scholarship.
Hannah enjoys having slumber parties with her dance friends, shopping,
amusement parks, barbeques and family time. In her spare time she also
enjoys sprawling out in her hammock and reading a good book. Hannah, who
speaks 4 languages has also met 9 Miss America's.
Hannah
says the best advice that she has ever received was to "Surround
yourself with greatness." and "Busy people get things done".
She describes herself as inspirational, approachable and persistent.
With
her title, Hannah believes that the crown gives you a voice. She would
like to travel to promote America's Miss and believes that maintaining an
appropriate MySpace would help bring positive role models to America's
Miss Pageants.
