If your state does not hold a State Pageant, you may be eligible to compete as an At-large (appointed) state delegate.  At-large contestants are ladies that believe that they can compete on a national level to represent their state.  The at-large contestant qualifies herself by completing an application which includes questions relevant to her. The at large title carries the same amount of clout as a contestant that receives the state title. Everyone has identical crowns and banners. Everyone starts out even across the board when it comes to the national competition.

In States were no pageant is held, an At-large contestant* is selected to represent her state.

At-Large Contestant Sponsor fee:   $595

This fee covers the contestant's entry to participate in the 2009 National Pageant and includes the contestant's state crown and banner, participation awards, Pageant T-shirt, some meals and admission & transportation to local attractions during the National Pageant.  This fee is also used to pay expenses associated with producing the National Pageant (i.e. ballroom cost, staging, lighting, technicians, transportation, admission cost, staff expenses, etc.)  NOTE. Contestants are responsible for providing their own hotel accommodations and transportation to the National Pageant.

You must complete an application (attach the $95 application fee & a recent photo) to secure your State Title and compete at the National Pageant. (The $95 application fee will be deducted from the at-large contestants $595 sponsor fee.  Contestants may secure as many sponsors as needed to help pay the balance of the sponsor fee.
