Baltimore's Annual Thanksgiving Parade
kicks off the holiday season with spectacular floats, gigantic
balloons, marching bands, and the official arrival of Santa Claus to
Baltimore. And this year,
Hannah Mollerick, America's Miss Teen 2008
will ride in the Annual Parade which will
also feature national and hometown hero,
Michael Phelps.
The parade steps off at
Howard and Pratt streets and goes down Pratt Street through the Inner
Harbor on
November 22, 2008 at
11:00 AM. |

Hannah
Mollerick, America's Miss Teen 2008
teamed up with
America's
Miss Maryland, Caroline Kuhlman
and
America's
Miss Maryland Teen, Taheerah Bashir
to volunteer at Maryland's Annual Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
"Race for
the Cure". Each year America's Miss state representatives volunteer their
time for this worthy cause during
October,
National Breast Cancer month.

America's Miss
Scholarship Pageants is proud to announce that
it has partnered with the Business Volunteers
Unlimited of Maryland to help provide much
needed school supplies to local middle school
students.
In 2008 through
donations and support from area businesses BVU
was able to fill more than 650 backpacks with
over $25,000 of school supplies for middle
school students. The goal in 2009 is to provide
over 1000 backpacks.
The 2009 National
Delegates will bring to the National pageant
bookbags and school supplies in an effort to
help "make a difference" in the lives of
students who otherwise would go to school
without the supplies they need, feeling
unprepared and most likely will be emotionally
disconnected from school. |
